Welcome to Boone County Public Transportation
Our mission at BCT is to provide the general public, people with disabilities, and senior citizens access to affordable, reliable, and efficient transportation that effectively meets their needs and will assist them in remaining in their homes and community.
Free Summer Luch Program
Last year a group from First United Methodist Church in Boone decided to provide free lunches for any child who wanted one during the summer. The program is once again being offered this year, and Boone County Transportation is proud to be able to offer free transportation to and from the meal sites thanks to the United Way of Boone County. From June 3rd to August 14th, BCT will be providing transportation to one of the four free lunch sites - American Legion Cabin 1928 Boone St., Open Bible Church 1224 Hancock Dr., First United Methodist Church 703 Arden St., and Crawford Hall 107 State St. You can sign your child up to ride by filling out a Free Lunch Transportation Form. The form can be downloaded and then submitted by email to our office, but we require that you call our office to verify trip information and for us to give you the pick up times. We will not provide transportation until we have recieved a phone call. Please note that our office hours are 6:30am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday, and we need at least one business day to process your application. Also, you can stop by our office to fill out, or drop off a form.
