Boone County Public Transportation (BCT) is a private, non-profit organization incorporated in 1977 to provide transportation services for the Boone County community. BCT is the transportation contractor for Boone County with the Heart of Iowa Regional Transit Agency (HIRTA). BCT has 23 employees and is governed by a local board of directors.

BCT accepts applications for drivers on an ongoing basis. Click the link below for a copy of the driver application. Applications can be emailed to the Director, Patty Reed at preed@boonecountytransit.com or dropped off at the BCT office at 328 Snedden Drive Boone, IA 50036 from 7:00 AM to 5 PM Monday-Friday.
