Our mission at BCT is to provide the general public, people with disabilities, and senior citizens access to affordable, reliable, and efficient transportation that effectively meets their needs and will assist them in remaining in their homes and community.

We Are Hiring

Boone County Transportation is seeking a part-time driver. Must be able to obtain a Class C CDL. Applications may be found online or at our office, 328 Snedden Drive in Boone. For more information, call Tyler at 515-432-5038.

Student Rider Ticket Price Lowered

This year the student rider (4 year-old Pre-K to 12th grade) fare has gone down from $3.50 to $2.50 per trip. For more information about our student rides and services please call us at BCT, or visit the Student Rides page.

Medicaid Medical Transportation (TMS)

Boone County Public Transportation (BCT) is a certified Medicaid medical transportation provider through the TMS Management Group, Inc. (TMS). Medicaid recipients may be eligible for free transportation for medical trips through TMS. Contact TMS at 1-866-572-7662 for more information or to schedule a Medicaid medical trip. BCT will provide the transportation, but TMS will verify eligibility, collect trip information, and notify BCT. If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at 515-432-5038.
